Musungu delivers a raw, organic, and hypnotic music dedicated to dance:
Kiz – or Chiz.
Its core group of three nomadic musicians invites different instrumentalists, DJs, and performers to join them in creating teeming, captivating sonic textures that draw the audience into a state of collective trance.
The trio’s relentless, metronomic rhythms merge with the sounds and melodies of the guests to generate a chaotic and joyful dance floor.

A space for catharsis is created, like an ephemeral refuge where the
need and feeling of being together are (re)composed, and where the vertigo of existing through the other is expressed: the urgency
of the common good. Emile Biayenda, Tatiana Paris, and David Merlo are musicians who embrace multiplicity, having forged their respective sonic and musical universes through hybridization: an insatiable curiosity for the unknown, an essential need to transcend themselves.
Rumba, noise music, post-rock, afrobeat, contemporary and experimental music, improvised music, Mandingue, jazz and free jazz, metal, electroacoustic music, punk… these are all backgrounds that gravitate around their encounter.

Together, they (re)compose sensitive and imagined paths between their different origins and a shared space where minds no longer seek to name things and where bodies dance.
They traverse these spaces aimlessly, dancing vagabonds, Basungu.
